Die sorgfältig durch eine spezielle Harzmischung geschützten Streifen sind wasserdicht. Man klebt sie mit geeignetem Klebstoff auf das Messobjekt und erhält auch unter Wasser zuverlässige Messergebnisse (der Isolationswiderstand verändert sich auch nach einem Einsatz von 100 h bei einem Wasserdruck von 100 bar kaum).
Die Schutzabdeckung ist hoch flexibel und die Streifen können problemlos auch auf gekrümmten Flächen installiert werden.
