HIGH DYNAMIC - dual core ADC
This new technology solves the often faced problem that the signal is just much higher than expected and therefore clipped. Dewesoft DUAL CORE ADC technology always gives you the full possible measuring range, because the signal is measured with a high and a low gain at the same time! The user doesn´t need to care about the range anymore. High dynamic range up to 160 dB!

High speed - high bandwidth
This series combines high bandwidth with alias-free acquisition with 16 bit with up to 1 MS/sec acquisition rate. The analogue anti-aliasing filter (100 kHz, 5th order bessel) is combined with free programmable digital IIR filter block inside the FPGA. For bandwith requirements of up to 500 kHz the complete filter chain can be by-passed.
New Real-time counter / digital inputs
There are 2 typical counter functions: the gated measurement (high frequency range typ. > 100 Hz) or pulse width measurement (low frequency range typ. < 100 Hz). Many applications need both: the counter information and the analogue data. Traditional systems do not offer the counter information synchronized to the A/D converters, because they get the counter information only either after the gate time or after the pulse time measured. In comparison to standard counting with software interpolation (value 1.5 in the example image) Dewesoft real-time counting uses an additional counter to get the exact time of the rising edge of the signal. This unique feature allows the calculation of the exact counter value at the A/D sample point (value 1.87 in the example).
Multiple analogue outputs
24 bit analogue output, or function generator, programmable voltage and current supply. In addition to the programmable voltage or current power supply for all sensors on the market, the SIRIUS MULTI module also offers the analogue output function of the conditioned input signal, or even additional mathematic functions, often used for redundant data acquisition systems. These functions can also be used as a function generator to drive a shake for the structural analysis function (FRF)

SIRIUS fanless
The fanless option covers all the harsh applications with dust, etc... due to the dust sealed enclosure. It is also silent - recommended for acoustic applications in combination with the new SBOX fanless.
S-BOX (embedded PC) with up to 4 SIRIUS chassis in one enclosure
With the S-BOX Dewesoft SIRIUS becomes an up to 32 channel system including an i7 embedded PC running DEWESoft™ Software. It can be set to hold 1 to 4 SIRIUS chassis to get 8, 16, 24 or 32 channels. Each input channel can be chosen from the standard range of SIRIUS modules.
The standard configuration of the PC is an i7 processor, 4 GB RAM and a 64 GB removable solid state disk. The operating system is stored on an internal 8 GB flashdisk, so removing the hard drive with valuable information is easy. The GByte-LAN and WLAN modules provide good connectivity between instruments while seven USB and one VGA connector complete the system. If you need more channels simply connect multiple systems via GBit-LAN and sync to get a system of up to 1000 channels and more. Each system can be used independently or can be combined for bigger measurement tasks. When using the DEWE-NET option, each 32 channel PC has more than enough power for most demanding math operation since the load of calculation is distributed among the computers. With this system configuration performance problems belong to the past! S-BOX includes also a 1 Hz (100 Hz as an option) GPS receiver with real time Kinematic option for down to 2 cm accuracy.

SIRIUS DAQ system - next generation data acquisition:
Additionally offers measurements for Industrial Acoustic, Structural Analysis and Machinery Diagnosis. Industrial Acoustic: Real time narrow band FFT, Real time 1/1, 1/3, 1/12, 1/24 band octave spectrum, Real time A-, B-, C-, D-weighting, Fast- Slow- Impulse-weighting, Leq-Calculation, Sound Level according IEC 60651, 60804, 61672. Structural Analysis: Measurement of transfer functions (FRF) for SISO, SIMO and MIMO configurations with H1, H2 and Hv algorithm. Excitation can be either an impulse (modal hammer) or continuous. In this case internal function generator (OPT-FGEN) or external generator source might be used. DS-16xLVDTr uses a unique ratiometric architecture to eliminate several of the disadvantages associated with traditional approaches to LVDT interfacing. DS-16xLVDTr combines 16 channels of DSI-LVDT adapters in a 19”-rack compatible housing with 1U height.
The main advantage of the new design is the asynchronous excitation signal provided from an external function generator to a BNC front connector (IN connector). When using multiple DS-LVDTr devices the EXC signal can be daisy-chained from the BNC OUT connector to the BNC IN connector on the other device.
There are 16 DSUB-9M male connectors on the front panel for the connection to the Dewesoft data acquisition system. Each connector includes a trimmer for phase adjustment.
On the back panel are 16 DSUB-9F (female) connectors for the LVDT sensor connection. DS-16xLVDTr supports measurements with full-bridge and half-bridge LVDT sensor types.

ECAT sync junction is used to synchronize acquisition from Dewesoft EtherCAT based data acquisition devices like KRYPTON with USB data acquisition devices like SIRIUS USB and DEWE-43A.
The ECAT sync junction is not required with R1DB/R2DB, R4, R8 or MINITAURs DAQ systems when extended with EtherCAT devices, because the sync junction is already built into the systems.
