The ASM-1KCBV are miniature Semiconductor Acceleration Transducers for Crash Tests. These acceleration transducers adopt a semiconductor strain gage for the sensing element. The compact and lightweight design gives minimal influence to the vibration mode of a measuring object, thereby making them applicable to acceleration/vibration measurement in automotive crash tests and many other fields.

- Compact and lightweight design (approx. 4.3 g) causes minimal influence to the vibration mode of a measuring object.
- Safe overload rating 120%
- No damping oil is used, and thus the frequency response and phase characteristics are not affected by temperature.
- Undamped design ensures minimal phase shift.
- ASM-1 KCBV provides a vertical sensitivity axis to the mounting surface.
- Connector-equipped design facilitates cable exchange.
- Mount for triaxial measurement is optionally available.
