The VB/01 and VB/02 are low cost battery powered single channel IEPE signal conditioning units. Using BNC input and output they provide LED indicators for power, short circuit and open circuit checks on sensor connection. Providing a 4mA constant current supply at 18VDC they can be used with any IEPE accelerometer or other sensor.

With a rechargeable battery and simple one button operation the VC-01 provides a fixed frequency (159.2Hz) at 1grms sine wave to allow the user to check their accelerometer output wherever they may be, out in the field or in the lab. The VC-01 is supplied with a range of optional studs to screw mount the test accel. to the top of the unit, however for a quick test good results can also be achieved by using adhesive or petro wax.
