EDX-10 Series Compact Recording system. The products in the EDX-10 series consist of measuring instruments capable of carrying out measurement simply by connecting a PC through a USB interface.
Different types of measuring units are available: the EDX-11A, which is capable of measuring strain, load, pressure, displacement, and other parameters by using a strain gage transducer; the EDX-12A, which is capable of measuring voltages and the new EDX-13A for thermocouples (Type K, T, J and N). The new Low-Power Units EDX-14A (Strain) and EDX-15A (Voltage & Strain) can source the complete power out of one USB-3.0 Connection - No Power Supply is needed.
The stacked unit configuration eliminates the need to use synchronouscables between Units.
Benefits:
In measurement with a single measuring unit, power can be taken from a PC’s USB interface.
A single measuring unit can measure 4 channels, and 4 units connected are capable of measuring 16 channels by using an optional AC adaptor.
The stacked unit configuration eliminates the need to use synchronous cables.
A single measuring unit can perform simultaneous sampling from 4 channels at a maximum of 20 kHz.
Compact and lightweight
Simple connection via a single USB cable
DCS-100A dynamic data acquisition software, provided as a standard accessory, simplifies the datamonitoring and acquisition process.
The acquired data can be analyzed using the optional data analysis software DAS-200A in Kyowa standard format KS2 or can be exported as a ASCII File.
An input cable or an input adaptor enables smooth sensor connection.
Compact & Light-weight, Easy to use, Reasonable price for Research and Development, Research Institutions and Universities.
Application: Bench-top (Indoor) Tests, Able to measure wherever PC is available
Maximum Sampling speeds: 20kHz/4ch, 10khz/8ch, 5kHz/16ch
Small system dimensions: The size is only: W84 x D84 x H53 mm, Approx 290g at 4ch.
User friendly Software DCS-100A included: Only 3 steps are required to start measurement.

To monitor measurement data with various graph and numerical windows To realize efficient data acquisition.
DCS-100A is a dynamic data acquisition software developed to make Kyowa measuring instruments even more powerful. The software enables easy interactive setting of various conditions and facilitates efficient acquisition of required data by showing variables under
measurement in varies graph and numeric windows on the display.
Measuring instruments to be controlled are the Compact Recorder EDS-400A, Compact Recording System EDX-10 Series, Universal Recorders EDX-100A, EDX-200A and Memory Recorder/Analyzer EDX-5000A, Sensor Interface PCD-400A/430A, High-speed Data Logger UCAM-550A and Medium Speed Network Terminal Box NTB-500A.
Features
The basic operating method does not depend on the controlled measuring instrument, so even if the measuring instrument been changed, it still user-friendly.
Y-time, X-Y, bar graphs, circular meters, and numeric display are possible.
Measuring condition setting, data acquisition, data collection, data acquisition and file
conversion. For analyzing the acquisition data, an optional data analysis software DAS-200A is recommended.
Large capacity data acquisition by computer's hard disk is available
Automatic data collection is possible.
Easy operation with the toolbar, function keys and operation panel
During data reproduction, Allows Kyowa standard data format (KS2) to be converted to CSV and excel formats.
Up to 16 data files can be graphed on display. The data analysis software DAS-200A enables data reproduction and analysis for further effective and efficient use of measured data saved in Kyowa standard data file formats KS1 and KS2.
1, 2 or 4 Y-Time graphs can be presented on a window. The zooming function enables detailed observation of a necessary part by zooming in and the cursor enables reading the values on the time axis. The enlarged result on display can be saved as a different file or converted to CSV file.
Features
One data file can be processed for waveform display, FFT analysis, statistic operation, header information display, tabulation of numeric data and setting display conditions.
Data file can be extracted and converted to CSV file.
Statistic processing
Arithmetic operation
FFT analysis
Histogram analysis
Filtering
Differentiation/integration
Saving/reading graph display and analysis condition file
