This is a compact, lightweight, non-damping type acceleration transducer with a spatter- type strain gage used for its sensing element. This transducer is suitable for measuring the acceleration of a dummy or vehicle body in a vehicle crash test. In consideration of situations where three transducer units are used to measure acceleration in three directions simultaneously, the transducer's center of mass has been located at the front end of the body so that the center of seismic mass (the measuring center) of each unit can be arranged as close together as possible.
- Two Models: Rated Capacity of 9807 or 19613 m/s² (1000 or 2000 G)
- The transducer can be mounted on a dummy or free motion head form for a vehicle crash test.
- Due to the high recommended excitation voltage of max. 12V (AC or DC), high output can be obtained.
- The transducer's center of mass is located near the front end of the body in consideration of tripleaxis use.
- Because the unit is a non-damping type, there is minimal influence on frequency and phase characteristics.
- High Temperature Range of -20 to 60 °C
